Rapid Prototyping

RAPID PROTOTYPING

With Form 3 LF SLA 3D printer and the wide range of usable resins we can manufacture prototypes as well as final products with resolutions up to 25 μm. 3D printing is about a whole different way of manufacturing, since it is an additive method in contrast to the most common methods of material removal. For some certain cases of geometric features additive manufacturing is the only way of achieving them, such as internal empty spaces. The high resolution and the high quality texturing can cover functional requirements as well as modelling ones. Furthermore, using Form Cure the green prints can reach their final mechanical and chemical properties fast and material oriented due to UV radiation in controlled temperature environment.

Some noticeable resins we provide are the following:

  • Standard Clear Resine: See-through resin offering the opportunity to visualize the inner of the product or unreached by the light features. It can be applied in cases where there is interest in knowing how a certain function happens in the inner of an assembly, for demonstration purposes or for other esthetic reasons.
  • Standard Gray/Black Resine: Resins of high quality for general purpose with very good final texturing.
  • Gray Pro: Resin of greater strength suitable for working in higher temperatures (for example mould-type products) with very good texture.
  • Tough: ABS behaviour, high strength, toughness and ductility, suitable for further machining like hole and thread opening. It can be used for components requiring strength or for end-products.
  • Elastic: The very opposite of tough resin, elastic offers high deformability and resistance in bending. It is suitable for elastic links or surface covers.
